About Our Initiative
Passionate Young Leaders Initiative (PYLI) is a non-profit, non-political organization registered and operating in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. We are dedicated to empowering youth, fostering community leadership, advocating against child sexual abuse, promoting sustainable tourism education, and executing humanitarian interventions to support vulnerable elderly individuals.
No. PYLI is strictly independent, non-partisan, and non-sectarian. Our programs welcome all youth and community members regardless of political affiliation, background, religion, or gender.
Programs & Outreaches
"Isang Ima" (meaning "Walk of Love" in Ibibio) is our signature humanitarian charity program organized every February and December. Through this initiative, our team and volunteers visit vulnerable elderly individuals in Akwa Ibom communities to provide financial assistance for medication, essential foodstuffs, and empathetic companionship.
We embarked on a comprehensive tour across 10 Local Government Areas in Akwa Ibom State, engaging secondary school students on sustainable tourism, cultural heritage preservation, and career opportunities. We distributed free notebooks and educational supplies to empower students academically.
Donations & Accountability
100% of public donations directly fund educational materials for students, healthcare supplies for elderly citizens during "Isang Ima", and community workshops. Donors can make direct transfers to our official Zenith Bank account (1311847270) and email their proof of payment to passionateyoungleaders@gmail.com for immediate formal acknowledgement and inclusion in our impact reporting.
